Welcome to South Bay Christian Alliance Church. We are a local family of Believers that meet regularly for the purpose of glorifying God, exalting Jesus Christ by the enablement of the Holy Spirit.
South Bay is the geographic region that we are seeking to reach and minister to. The fact that there are many of our members that are not residents of South Bay shows that our ministry is not limited to the area. So do not let the name discourage you from coming to visit us rather think of it as the starting point of your own spiritual journey with our church family.
Christian Alliance denotes our denominational heritage. We are a part of a larger denomination called Christian and Missionary Alliance, USA. Men like A. B. Simpson, A. W. Tozer and Ravi Zacharias are some of the names that have graced the rich lineage of this storied missionary movement into the world.
Church is what we are both locally and universally. We are a people redeemed by God through the precious blood of Jesus Christ for the purpose of building each other up in our walk of faith and reaching out to others in our community with the very message of Jesus Christ. We endeavor to accomplish this by glorifying God, exalting Christ by the enablement of the Holy Spirit through the expositional preaching and teaching of God’s Word, the Bible.
This website is a “work in progress.” Our hope is that it will be another venue from which we will be able to take God’s message to the world. If you are a Believer there is much in the form of resource that will be made available to you here, so come back often. If you are inquiring about The Faith, we trust that you will find the resources in this website to be an accurate representation of Jesus Christ and His Gospel.
Soli Deo Gloria,
Pastor Felix

FELLOWSHIP GROUPS
Children Ministry aims to build the building blocks of Bible literacy and basic doctrine. We do so through our Bible based children’s curriculum; Generations of Grace. We also outreach to our community’s children and their families by sharing the gospel through our annual Vacation Bible School. Our VBS has been a joyous collaboration of our entire church to serve our community!
The SBCAC College & Career Ministry is a weekly Bible study targeting young adults within the local church. Committed not just to the study and application of God’s Word, the ministry also includes other aspects such as prayer, praise & worship through song, discipleship, edification of the body of Christ through fellowship and opportunities for service. The goal for all who attend is to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that the gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed to the lost.
The Married Couples’ Ministry of SBCAC is a fellowship of couples aiming to strengthen marriages through the study and application of God’s Word. We strive to pursue the biblical view of Christian marriage which upholds the covenant made between husband and wife before God. The ministry is committed to building and maintaining Christian homes within the body of Christ by providing and receiving encouragement from other couples through fellowship and prayer.
The Men’s Ministry was formed for the purpose of organizing a fellowship among the men of SBCAC, young and old. The primary purpose of this ministry is to support the ministries of the local church and provide a place for men to mature and develop in their walk with Christ through personal discipleship. The men of SBCAC regularly take up church building projects (e.g. clean up, repair, remodel, etc), and meet for monthly breakfast for fellowship and time in the Word.
The Women’s Ministry is organized to support the ministries of the local church, SBCAC. The most visible support the Women’s Ministry undertakes is in setting up a hospitable environment for fellowship through meals for church events and gatherings (Gen 18:6). But the foundation for such gracious and tireless service can be seen in providing an affinity group for women of all ages to participate in, wherein evangelism and discipleship occur (Titus 2:3-5)
The Youth Ministry of SBCAC takes place on Friday nights at 7:30pm. The ministry leaders walk through the Fundamentals of the Faith workbook created by Grace Community Church of Sun Valley with the high school students. There are 13 lessons covered, including the topics of the Bible, the triune Godhead, prayer, and obedience. It is our hope that God may use this ministry to implant a solid foundation of biblical doctrine, which would lead the students to live a God-honoring life.
MINISTRIES
The ministry of discipleship is the foundational means for SBCAC member’s to grow in their faith. Through intimate times of fellowship, SBCAC members are encouraged to establish trusting relationships wherein they can practice the scriptural admonition to “one-anothers.” Discipleship is not a one-time event or conference that people go to but rather a long, slow process of growth where a mature believer establishes a mutual and loving relationship with a younger believer for the purpose personal accountability, instruction through Bible study and encouragement.
Evangelism is the only reason the church is still on earth. This is the mandate Christ gave His first disciples which rings loud and clear even in the ears of His disciples today. SBCAC members are trained to be able to clearly articulate the gospel in any situation. We do not promote any one program or method of evangelism but rather apply what we see clearly in Scripture as the necessary components of a biblical presentation of the Gospel.
Prayer is an essential part of the ministry of SBCAC. The prayer ministry is always led or overseen by the pastor and elders of the church (Acts 6). This is not a distinct ministry from other ministries of the church but rather an attitude of the church as a whole recognizing her need for God’s intervention in every aspect of the church’s life and service. SBCAC holds a regular mid-week prayer service, where a prayer guide is used to facilitate our prayer time. It is our desire to develop a greater time in public corporate prayer through retreats as well as encourage our members to observe a disciplined period for personal and devotional prayer times
The ministry of missions is an extension of the evangelism ministry of SBCAC going beyond the local community. Along with the support of the world-wide ministry of The Christian and Missionary Alliance through the Great Commission Fund, SBCAC endeavors to get the gospel out into foreign lands by sending Short Term Mission Teams, supporting other like-minded missions agency and missionaries and providing training to indigenous believers and ministry leaders.
Our main focus of this ministry is to build up believer's who have a passion to worship our Lord Jesus Christ through music. We teach the believer to work together as a group to prepare the congregation for corporate worship.
